The Rhema Word Foundation was born from a mother's grief, a father's resolve, and a community's silence — and it exists to make sure no family ever faces that silence alone.
How We Began
Aramah's Legacy
In 2004, Kivva and Byron became victims of a horrific tragedy that resulted in the loss of their daughter Aramah — affectionately known as Rhemy. In the depths of that grief, they discovered something devastating: there were no resources available in their community to help survivors cope with such losses to child abuse and untimely deaths.
Rather than let that void remain, Kivva and Byron joined forces to remedy it. They are dedicated to changing what the "after-effects" of tragedy look like — turning their deepest pain into a lifeline for others who would walk a similar road.
We were called not just to comfort the broken, but to walk with them until they are whole.
